UV offset inks for tin printing applications

Application

Special, low-migration, UV web offset ink for the safe manufacturing of food packaging, in compliance with the EuPIA guideline “Printing inks applied to the non-food contact surface of food packaging materials and articles”.

This UV offset ink for pre-coated aluminium and tinplate sheets convinces with its optimum adhesion and high reactivity for UV food packaging. NewV tin MGA is suited for the manufacture of food packaging, fasteners and crown caps. The special chemical composition of the ink series is recommended for high temperatures and sterilisation applications. After selecting a suitable basic ink range, the NewV tin MGA CRSmax provides ideal conditions for the development of customised colour shades and good reproducibility. NewV tin MGA printing inks have been specially mixed for the manufacturing of primary food packaging. The production is carried out strictly in accordance with the GMP ordinance (EC) no. 2023/2006. The printing inks comply with the EuPIA guideline, the plastics ordinance (EC) no. 10/2011, the framework ordinance (EC) no. 1935/2004 and the Swiss Ordinance for Articles of Daily Use SR 817.023.21
